| Just got done with the Z a couple weeks ago. Took me almost a year to finish it, but that's not too bad consider I've built 4 300zxtt for some local Z onwers during my Z build-up :lol: Anyway, I decided to put the car on the dyno and see what it will do and if there is any problem. Got me some C16 from Scamcharger and headed to Advance Chasis Dyno. First pull with boost controller turned off (running wastegates pressure) @ 14psi, it put down 520rwhp. Not bad at all :) Andy and I were a little surprised at what we see. I started cranking up the boost and soon I ran into problem. The Greddy$$$ wastegates would not hold over 21psi :x It put down 668rwhp. I tightened the wastegates spring and they only held @24psi which yielded 718rwhp. I finally tightened the wastesgates all the way. They only held 26psi :x Here is the chart for the 26psi runs.
I was planning to do some tuning on fuel and cam timing but gave up due to the wastegates issue. And I have burn off 5 gallons of C16 in 26 pulls :o Plan was to dyno tune @ 30+ psi. well, not atleast I sort out the wastegates problems first. Also, big thanks to Devin (Z from Japan) for sending me the custom chip so fast!
